About LA SAISON

La Saison began in Tehran in 2007 as a small pastry kitchen rooted in craft and curiosity. Founded by Soheil Fathi, it grew into a beloved bakery and chocolatier serving hundreds of businesses across the city.

In 2017, Soheil and his wife, Sarah Moridpour, brought La Saison to the United States — beginning again, this time in Cambridge, Massachusetts. What started as a leap of faith became a new chapter shaped by resilience, migration, and community.

Today, La Saison serves both Cambridge and Charlestown, continuing to grow thoughtfully while staying rooted in craftsmanship and connection.

Across cultures and histories, breaking bread has signified trust, hospitality, and the beginning of connection. At La Saison, we carry that symbolism with us. Every loaf we bake is an invitation — to gather, to pause, to belong.

Our Pastry Chef

Soheil Fathi was born and raised in Tehran. His journey into baking began in his home kitchen and evolved into multiple retail locations and a full-scale pastry brand in Iran.

After moving to the United States, he refined his craft further before reopening La Saison in Massachusetts — blending technical precision with creative curiosity.

His approach combines engineering discipline, artistic intuition, and a lifelong fascination with flavor.
